Breast Reduction Consultation

A personal consultation is the first step for every patient
considering breast reduction. During this meeting Dr.
Behmand will answer your questions, assess your physical
and emotional health, and discuss specific goals you may
have for the surgical procedure. The examination will
focus on your current breast size, shape, skin quality, and
placement of nipples as well as your desired outcome. The
types of breast reduction surgery will be discussed and
when indicated, Dr. Behmand will recommend the most
appropriate procedure for you.

Some insurance companies will provide partial or total
coverage for breast reduction surgery. However, coverage
may depend on the amount of breast tissue being removed
and the insurance company often requires a letter of
predetermination prior to surgery. Our office staff will
help you complete this process as necessary.
